Underwriting Technician

A company is looking for an Underwriting Technician in the Northeast Region.

Key Responsibilities

Support Middle Market Underwriters by managing accounts, endorsements, and small accounts

Provide customer service support for agents and underwriters, handling escalations and rush requests

Process endorsements and organize renewal books of business within assigned authority levels

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree preferred and / or 1-2 years of commercial lines experience

Basic commercial lines underwriting knowledge with premiums over $50,000

Ability to develop understanding of basic exposure / control analysis and coverage

Service-oriented with a high level of responsiveness

Ability to self-manage workload to meet underwriting goals and service standards
