Scheduling Engineer (Project Controls) - Integration Management Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS : 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services, NAICS : 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy, and NAICS : 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services and
Provide Scheduling services on assigned SRR Project Teams. Scheduling support services include executing the process responsibilities associated with organization, development, analysis, implementation and maintenance of scheduling applications and measures necessary for decision making and monitoring of planning and program / scheduling established objectives. Services would include preparing schedules and performance monitoring status and management reports which identify variances in work execution strategy, provide timely feedback and recommend solutions to management to improve or mitigate problems affecting cost, schedule or estimating issues throughout the life cycle of a project, program or other work activity.
Scheduling services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.

Qualifications
The Scheduling Engineer (Project Controls) - Integration Management shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones / delivery schedules as outlined.
Four year college degree in Accounting, Business Management, Math, Science or Engineering or a minimum of three (3) years experience in the field of Planning & Scheduling / Cost Engineering, in an Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) field for nuclear, chemical and operating industrial facilities. The candidate must demonstrate good teamwork and communication skills.
Candidate will be required to learn and execute Project Controls practices in accordance with DOE Order 413.3, DOE Guides G413.3 and Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and procedures. The candidate must exhibit college level, or 4 year work experience equivalent, in computer experience (proficiency) in basic project control software applications, including, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word, and at least three years of experience in Primavera (PM) Candidate must have good problem solving, analysis and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills. Candidate must have the ability to walkdown and interface with personnel and systems in the field. A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5 / 8s (8 hours / day; five days per week), 4 / 10s (10 hours / day; four days per week), and a 9 / 80s (9 hours / day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B).
Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch. A security clearance is not required U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen

TRAVEL : Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, as allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
