Senior Accountant
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards. Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements. Collaborate with various teams to gather data and support financial audits. Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the Accounting & Finance department. Maintain and improve accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and industry best practices.
A successful Senior Accountant should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, including knowledge of GAAP. Experience in financial reporting, audits, and reconciliations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
