We are looking for a Customer Solutions Architect (CSA) to join our team. The CSA position is a pre-sales role that is customer facing, representing Nokia Federal to government customers. The CSA role entails working directly with end customers and in a consultative manner with other members of Nokia Federal (sales / pre-sales / post-sales etc.), and Nokia business and product groups to deliver customer specific projects involving Nokia’s products. The successful candidate will need to be able to work independently, and as a team member, and prepare complex technical proposals, pricing quotes, and design solutions. The Customer Solutions Architect role will participate in business development functions, but will lead the solutions presentations, system design, configuration, sales quoting, and proposal development process that leads to new business within Nokia Federal Solutions.
We are looking for a CSA, who has extensive network design / quoting experience with 5G / LTE wireless core networks (EPC,5GC). Experience with IMS architecture and call flows for VoLTE, VoWifi and VoNR is highly desirable and will be considered a strong plus.

Essential Job Functions
- Evaluate and develop technical support for business opportunities in collaboration with the Sales and Account Management teams.
- Lead solution design discussions, providing broad technical / system-level expertise in end-to-end wireless architectures.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in wireless core solutions, engaging customers, presenting technical solutions, and articulating their value.
- Create customer network evolution plans and position NOKIA FEDERAL / Nokia technology strategies to address mission requirements.
- Identify short- and long-term technical solutions to meet customer needs.
- Address complex technical risks (e.g., product roadmap availability) and develop mitigation strategies.
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve solutions and services.
- Support bid and proposal efforts, including solution descriptions, Statements of Work (SoW), configurations, pricing, and Bills of Material.
- Prepare and present complex technical proposals and pricing quotes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with NOKIA FEDERAL and Nokia product groups throughout the sales cycle.
- Work independently and as part of a team, act as the technical lead for customer engagements.
- Exhibit energy, results orientation, and initiative in achieving business objectives.
- Travel up to 20% of the time as required to meet with customers and project stakeholders.
Work Environment :
Typical office environment with occasional travel to customer or partner sites. Work may involve extended periods of sitting, computer use, and participation in meetings. Minimal exposure to health or safety risks.

Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered.Licenses / Certificates

Minimum 10 years of relevant pre-sales experience in telecommunications, government, or equivalent military environment.Minimum 7 years of experience designing or implementing 5G / LTE networks focusing on EPC / 5GC, preferably using Nokia products.Proven experience with IMS architecture supporting VoLTE, VoWiFi, and VoNR services.Strong background in network design, quoting, and customer solution delivery.Skills :
Expertise in packet core architecture, design, and deployment.Detailed knowledge of 5G / LTE architectures (RAN, core, transport).Familiarity with Nokia private wireless solutions including AirScale (RAN), CMU / EVC (Core), and 7250 IXR (Transport).Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong consultative and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical functions.Physical Demands :
Must be able to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.Occasional lifting of materials up to 20 lbs.Must be able to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.
