DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will assign, participate in, and review routine and specialized tasks performed by inmates in the areas of pre-preparation, production, service, and baking. As an instructor, you will provide instruction to inmates through on-the job vocational training in the preparation of meals according to recipes, as well as the safe and sanitary operation of tools and equipment, cleaning, maintenance, and storage practices. Your work will involve inspecting food service areas and equipment for safety and sanitation standards, reviewing menu data, adjusting recipes, and recycling leftover food. You can expect to conduct performance evaluations and review work assignments. Additionally, you will maintain care, custody, and control over inmates during work assignments.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
1st shift : 4 : 30 AM to 12 : 30 PM
