Medical Assistant Papillion NE (10 miles SW of Omaha)

4-day work week (Mon-Thur)

We are looking for a motivated Medical Assistant to join our practice full time in Papillion NE. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient and detail oriented, a great communicator and team player. Ideally the incoming medical assistant will be welcoming both new and returning patients with warmth and professionalism and assist with examinations (taking x-rays, posture analysis, trauma history) and collaborating with the chiropractor for ongoing patient. You conduct essential clinical tests like x-rays, posture analysis, and inflammation scans, all while gathering trauma and patient histories to ensure precise information entry. You enthusiastically introduce patients to customized exercise protocols, carry out progress exams, and help them establish meaningful health goals. In this position, you will need Nebraska X-ray certification or willingness to obtain within 2 months of hire. Our office team will provide study materials and cover the cost of the state exam fee, but study hours will need to be completed outside of office hours.

Duties :

• Welcome both new and existing patients to the clinic
• Assist with examinations and evaluations (xrays, posture analysis, gather patient histories)
• Provide and ensure completion of all patient paperwork
• Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan
• Ensure that all the patient’s needs are met, nothing gets overlooked, and care is consistent with the patient’s expressed desires
• Help with exercise protocols and progress exams
• Advocate for the patient and motivate them to reach their health goals
• Assist the patients / staff with office flow
• Attend regular staff meetings
• Collaborate with the office staff for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain an organized office
