What you will be doing

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living for HHAs (Bathing, grooming, toiletting, ambulation...)
  • Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand
  • Perform light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
  • Companion services
  • Prepare a home cooked meal (you don’t need to be a gourmet chef)
  • You will not provide medical, nursing or skilled services

    • What you bring along

  • Successful completed HHA / CNA state required course is mandatory
  • Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
  • Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
  • Read, write, speak and understand Spanish as needed for the job
  • Homemaker Companion m ust be able to lift at least 15 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
