AC Wellness Network LLC is a subsidiary of Apple Inc. and is an exclusive management services organization (MSO) for AC Wellness, a dedicated independent medical group that serves Apple Wellness Centers in Santa Clara Valley and digitally, across the US. Our mission is to deliver the world's best healthcare experiences for Apple employees and their families. The MSO is looking to hire a Licensing Analyst who has a strong understanding of state medical licensing requirements and processes and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes. This is a site-based role.
Description
The Licensing Analyst is responsible for handling the entire licensing lifecycle for medical providers across all 50 states. This includes initial applications, renewals, verifications, and maintenance of accurate licensing records. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, diligent, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This role includes significant elements of project management, risk identification, relationship management, and multi-variable analysis.
Responsibilities
Manage the full licensing lifecycle for medical providers, including initial applications, renewals, and reinstatements in all 50 states.
Research and communicate state-specific licensing requirements, regulations, and procedures to cross-functional stakeholders.
Prepare and submit accurate and complete license applications and renewal documents to state licensing boards.
Track application status and proactively follow up with licensing boards to ensure timely processing.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all licenses, applications, and related documentation in a centralized database.
Monitor license expiration dates and initiate renewal processes well in advance of deadlines.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, credentialing, operations and clinical) to gather necessary information and documentation for licensing applications.
Communicate effectively with medical providers to provide guidance and support throughout the licensing process.
Identify and resolve licensing issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
Stay informed of changes in state licensing regulations and requirements and update internal processes accordingly.
Assist with audits of licensing records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Prepare reports on licensing status and metrics as needed.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with state licensing board representatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
1+ year of experience in medical provider licensing, credentialing, or related field.
Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years in project management.
In-depth knowledge of state medical licensing requirements and processes across multiple states.
Experience with online licensing portals and databases including database management and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,500 and $166,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
