Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring 18 months of recent ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital
  • Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
  • 13-week assignment duration
  • No on-call required
  • No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered
  • Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting
  • Strict RTO policy : maximum of 5 days off if not near a holiday, maximum of 3 days if near a holiday, and only one holiday request allowed
  • Time off during holidays must be spread out and not consecutive
  • Returning travelers must provide the last five digits of SSN
  • First-time travelers are not restricted from applying

    • Requirements

  • Active GA or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 18 months ICU experience required
  • Must be separated from Emory or Houston Health System as perm staff for at least 1 year before returning; 18 months if returning to the same facility
