Travel Nurse - MedSurg / Stepdown / Tele Units

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with weekend night shifts from 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM. The schedule follows a block cluster of either Friday, Saturday, Sunday (F, S, S) or Saturday, Sunday, Monday (S, S, M), including holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

This Resource Pool position encompasses all MedSurg, Stepdown, and Tele units. Candidates must possess Epic experience, with a preference for those who have prior Level 1 trauma and travel experience. The units require nurses who are well-rounded and strong in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
  • Manage a patient ratio of 1 : 3 for Stepdown and 1 : 6 for MedSurg / Tele.
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in various medical specialties.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Current nursing license with the ability to submit.
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Strong proficiency with Epic electronic medical records.
