Senior Active Directory Engineer (Richmond)

The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of industry leading technologies, VMware, Active Directory, Microsoft OSs, HP hardware (Blade Servers), Cisco UCS and Networking from both a design and implementation perspective. The candidate will be able to demonstrate technical capabilities for Active Directory, Microsoft OS and virtualization across the organizations infrastructure, desktops, servers, management and administration.

This individual will play a leadership role in the teams development and thus be responsible for providing input on our overall virtualization strategy, Cloud strategies, Active Directory design, Data Center strategies as well as driving technical readiness and development. This individual will develop and assist with design and implementation of Disaster Recovery strategy. This resource will provide peer guidance as well as knowledge transfer for basic troubleshooting for all server platforms configurations.

Desired Skills and Experience

Support for virtualization solutions (VMWare)

Design and implementation of basic and customized technical Server solutions

Focus on responsible for delivering high quality and value driven solutions to our clients

Documentation of deliverables

Develop complete Server based solutions

Provide knowledge transfer and training to customers

Provide Platform server demonstrations, evaluations

Create supporting configuration documentation.

Technical readiness

Individual development

Develop new Platform Server solutions around Cloud implementation

Develop and maintain close relationships with technology partners

Achieve certification levels in line with Platform servers and other technologies

Perform needs analysis, information gathering on customer expectations and technical baselines for writing or technical review of statements of work

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills and have the ability to write technically for project documentation
