About the Job
Manage an independent workload of grant activity, including proposal and progress report submissions, compliance monitoring, data and file management, and other administrative tasks. Work closely with faculty, Principal Investigators (PIs), research personnel, department accounting staff, central Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) staff, and other partners to facilitate proposal and grant activities. Provide expert guidance to PIs and staff on the preparation, submission, and non-financial post-award management of external and internal funding.
Work Arrangement : Mostly remote with occasional in-person meetings as needed.

Qualifications
Required : BA / BS plus 4 years' experience or equivalent; excellent communication skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred : Experience in higher education, sponsored projects work, electronic proposal systems such as NIH ASSIST, grants.gov, ProposalCentral, and UMN MN-GEMS.
About the Department
The MNPI Administrative Center supports departments within the University's Medical School, including Microbiology & Immunology, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, and Integrative Biology & Physiology.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range : $33-$40 / hour, depending on qualifications. 75%-100% appointment. Benefits include health plans, retirement, tuition benefits, flexible spending accounts, and more.
