Key Responsibilities :
Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and per the physician's treatment plan.Document evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, and recertification documentation in compliance with the OT Board State Practice Act and payer requirements.Train restorative aides to ensure continuity of care.Communicate patient progress, problems, and plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.Educate patients, families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs and caregiving techniques for discharge planning.Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area and departmental equipment.Relate positively and effectively with patients, families, and professional colleagues.Qualifications :
Valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in the state of California.New graduates are welcome to apply.
