As a key member of the Naval Strategic Programs and F&BO Management team, the successful candidate will assume a financial and strategic business role in the overall management of the $1.8B Naval Strategic Programs P&L. Responsibilities consist of supporting the program in achievement of financial commitments while leading day to day execution of all FP&A operations including the annual Long Range Plan, Quarterly Financial Reviews, and monthly Orders, Sales, EBIT and Cash forecast and variance reporting. In addition to leading a high impact team, the candidate will work directly with various functional teams within the program to assist in the reporting, forecasting and analyzing financial and operational results.

Specific duties will include :

• Staff, train and lead a team of financial and planning professionals in financial reporting, planning and budgeting program P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
• Oversee and review latest outlook and long range plan submissions
• Track and provide management with insight to key operational metrics
• Provide detailed view of current risks and opportunities to provide visibility into decision making
• Resource management, overhead and capital budgets, charging compliance, Service center management, and support other ad hoc reporting and audits
• Use Continuous Improvement tools to drive process improvement and develop standard tools and templates
