Starting Wage $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

We're excited to invite applicants for an entry-level Automotive Mechanic position, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the AMR company. This is a key role in ensuring our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

JOB SUMMARY :

Based in Central South Carolina. Will be working at several operations within South Carolina located within a 60 mile radius or as required. Performs light duty repairs on AMR fleet vehicles, assist senior mechanics and provides logistical support as assigned and or needed.

Responsibilities :

Mechanic Associate will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.

Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.

Clearly document service paperwork and OSHA safety guidelines as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.

Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the ground ambulance maintenance team and ground crew.

Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.

Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow mechanics and operations team.

Minimum Qualifications :

Preferred Qualifications :

2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension Preferred but not required. Must be willing to complete within 1 year
