Class A - Shuttle Driver (Night Shift)

Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is a growing statewide company seeking a Night Shuttle Driver for our depots in Highland Park and Detroit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Shuttle Driver will be delivering product with a tractor / trailer between our Highland Park and Detroit depot to cross docks located throughout Michigan. These locations include but are not limited to Saginaw, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Gaylord and Traverse City. Other duties include but are not limited to :

• Perform pre / post trip inspections
• Follow all D.O.T. and State regulated laws including HOS and ELD compliance
• Unload product at cross-docks
• Assist in separating and staging product
• Operate power and manual pallet jacks
• Operate hi-lo equipment
• Perform clean-up of area as needed
• Take loads to other depots to cover other drivers
• Other tasks as assigned by supervision

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position working Sunday through Thursday starting at 6 : 00 PM. Start times may fluctuate and occasional Fridays may be required based on holiday schedules and business needs.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The Shuttle Driver will be on the road in all weather conditions. This position is also physically demanding in nature, separating and loading cases, and requires the Delivery Associate to occasionally lift up to 55 pounds.
