PathGroup and Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN are seeking two experienced Pathologists Assistants to join their dynamic pathology team. This full-time, permanent position offers a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a strong focus on patient care and high-quality diagnostics. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for this role.

Position Highlights :

Full-time, permanent position with Monday through Friday schedule

Working hours : 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM

Key Responsibilities :

Assist with the preparation and examination of surgical pathology specimens and autopsies

Perform gross examinations of surgical specimens and prepare tissue for processing

Document detailed findings and assist pathologists in case review

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines

Maintain accurate and organized records of procedures and specimens

Qualifications :

Master s degree in Pathologists' Assistance

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pathology lab required

ASCP certification or eligibility preferred

Strong knowledge of human anatomy, pathology procedures, and lab safety protocols

Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
