About the Role :
The Assistant Director of Nurses - LVN / RN plays a critical leadership role within the healthcare team at Accel at College Station, AHA, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to patients. This position supports the Director of Nursing by overseeing daily nursing operations, coordinating staff activities, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The role involves direct supervision and mentorship of Licensed Vocational Nurses and other nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. The Assistant Director actively participates in developing and implementing nursing policies, quality improvement initiatives, and patient care protocols to enhance service outcomes. Ultimately, this position is pivotal in promoting patient safety, staff development, and operational excellence within the nursing department.
