Regional Administrator

Position Summary

The Regional Administrator will serve as the primary administrative contact of the affiliated site(s) for updates, to facilitate the resolution of market issues or concerns, staffing issues and supply management issues. The Regional Administrator is responsible for supporting the company Mission and maintaining strong working relationships through the direct contact and interaction with affiliated partners, senior managers, site managers, department managers, and staff members throughout the organization. The Regional Administrator will maintain frequent contact with affiliated partners, vendors, external consultants, and contact with patients, families, and community organizations when indicated. The Regional Administrator will remain visible at the clinic site(s), and coordinate and attend staff meetings and conference calls.

Education

Bachelors Degree with healthcare administration background or equivalent experience leading in a healthcare environment - Required

Core Job Functions

  • Follows the policy and procedures as written in the Company Policy and Procedure Manual.

Remains visible and available by rotating among locations.

Ensures staffing levels are appropriate at the affiliated clinic site(s). Monitors overtime and works with managers to ensure that staffing schedules are completed and distributed timely.

Works with Human Resources personnel to validate licensure and certifications of all clinical staff members.

In conjunction with company managers, interviews, hires and coordinates orientation and training of new staff members.

  • Approve employees timesheets for bi-weekly for payroll.
  • Works with Lead Physicians and Site Managers to ensure that appropriate clinical and clerical supply inventory and usage is appropriate. Works in conjunction with company managers to monitor and manage supply costs according to budget.

    Works in conjunction with company managers and staff to ensure that appropriate high quality patient-focused health care is provided.

  • Works in conjunction with Site Managers to resolve any facility-related issues.
  • Periodically inspect signs to ensure they are working properly.
  • Ensures that janitorial services vendor(s) are performing adequately.
  • Ensures that lawn and landscaping are well maintained.
  • Ensures that furniture and equipment are in good working order.
  • Conducts periodic on-site inspections of the general appearance and aesthetics of the facility.

  • Ensures that current licenses are posted (Pharmacy, CLIA, Occupational, DEQ, etc.).
  • Works in conjunction with IT Professionals to ensure that IT systems are working properly.
  • Ensure that phones are functional with updated massages.
  • Works with appropriate staff members to ensure EMR concerns are resolved timely.
  • Works in conjunction with affiliated partner marketing representatives to ensure that all marketing and business development plans are carried out and followed through.

  • Periodically checks website and social media pages to ensure that all content is current.
  • Ensures that seasonal promotions such as flu shots have the appropriate signage ordered and installed.

  • Ensures that advertisements and promotions are sufficient for vaccines and other services.
  • Ensure that holiday hours are posted and communicated properly.
  • Reviews patient volume trends.
  • Reviews Key Indicator Report to identify trends that need to be addressed.
  • Ensures regular communication with appropriate staff members to address concerns.
  • Works with Medical Director to review provider level code analysis and other dashboard metrics.
