A company is looking for a HIM Certified Coder OP- Ancillary, ER or Radiology.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately code hospital inpatient, outpatient, and professional fee encounters using appropriate coding systems
Provide interdepartmental coding assistance and develop compliant coding methodologies
Facilitate optimization of revenue while maintaining compliance standards through various tasks and audits
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Certification as a Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or similar coding certifications
Knowledge of ICD10, CPT, and HCPCs coding rules
Experience with encoders and coding software preferred
Knowledge of medical science, anatomy, and physiology
