Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist, Full Time

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Education : Graduate of an accredited college or university with at least a master's degree in a behavioral science discipline (must be independently licensed to practice in Arkansas- LCSW or LPC).
• Experience : Licensed in Arkansas as a Mental Health Professional with at least two years post-master's experience in psychiatric or mental health setting. Must have completed hospital and clinic orientation period in order to act as a team leader.
• Skills : The therapist must possess effective communication skills and must demonstrate leadership ability and interest in professional growth. Must be readily adaptable to changing physician / practice demands, without deterioration under stress; and must have a basic concept of customer service, scheduling, and counseling. The therapist must possess demonstrated knowledge, training and skills necessary and appropriate to the patient-specific population. Therapist must be able to set priorities and effectively delegate / coordinate interdisciplinary care based on the needs of the patient and clinic.
• Working Relationships : Ability to function with minimum supervision and interface appropriately with healthcare team.

DESCRIPTION :

The Therapist will provide quality individual and other therapies using professional standards, and according to their licensure and or certification. The therapist will complete assessment / treatment with a variety of diagnostic tools, following best practices.
