As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Bayboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. This is an armed and driving role, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.Provide customer service by assisting individuals at the location and addressing questions or concerns in a professional manner.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or security-related incidents.Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or potential security-related threats to the appropriate personnel.Support emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with law enforcement and / or emergency services.Document incidents and daily activities in logs or reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions or security-related violations within the government facility.What We're Looking For :

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Possess a valid armed guard card or license.Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military experience.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Why Join Us :
