Join Our Team as a Gastroenterologist in Griffin, GA! We are seeking a dedicated physician to join our expanding team covering the Griffin and Locust Grove Medical Offices. Our practice consists of more than 200 providers who are dedicated to enhancing patient well-being through accessible and compassionate service. Located conveniently for rapid access to nearby communities including Peachtree City, Fayetteville, and McDonough, you'll find it easy to connect with the vibrant lifestyle of Griffin. Job Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive gastroenterological care to patients at Griffin and Locust Grove Medical Offices. Work collaboratively with a team of 3 MDs / DOs and 4 clinic-based Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Manage approximately 15-18 patients per day, adhering to a Monday to Friday schedule. Participate in a 1 : 4 single hospital call schedule at Wellstar Spalding. Perform a variety of procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Enteroscopy, Hemorrhoid Banding, and more. Engage in telehealth services and nutrition counseling. Explore opportunities for career advancement within a well-established practice. Qualifications : Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Valid Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain one. Clean malpractice history (preferred). DEA registration must be obtained prior to start date. License and Certification Requirements : Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine (REQUIRED). Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED). GA license (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED). Clean malpractice history (PREFERRED). DEA must be obtained prior to start (REQUIRED).
