Executive Officer – Lake Region Builders Association, Detroit Lakes, MN

Lake Region Builders Association seeks a dynamic, innovative, detail-oriented Executive Officer. Applicants must be skilled in balancing multiple priorities and have an enthusiastic demeanor and passion for membership growth and improvement.

This remote position can be part-time or full-time, depending on your qualifications and skills.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Serve the membership of the LRBA
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, management and administration of the association.
  • Prepare minutes, agendas and reports for all board meetings.
  • Act as liaison with state and national builder associations.
  • Plan, organize and direct all member activities, education programs, expos and home show. Negotiate meeting locations, catering, soliciting sponsors, etc.
  • Contact members and prospects to improve membership outreach.
  • Promote interest and active participation in the association’s activities to members.
  • Manage / develop all marketing communications.

Qualifications :

  • Strong communication, planning and organizational skills
  • An energetic self-starter who works well independently, is flexible and able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Flexibility in regard to work schedule to participate in functions and meetings which may occur outside of typical office hours
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
