5 years structural steel / fab shop

Mechanical Aptitude

Requirements

• 2 years experience with the layout and fitting of handrails
• ability to layout the pitch of a handrail
• ability and know how to cope and fish mouth pipe ends for good fit-up
• 3 years Tig welding aluminum and stainless steel
• 3 years Mig welding aluminum and stainless steel
• Ability to read blueprints
• ability to read a WPS sheet
• ability to safely operate overhead crane and tow motor to move material
• must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
• Ability to read Weld Symbols
• Job shop experience
• ability to pass a 3G weld test
