About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours (17 : 00 - 05 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required; will accept first-time travelers.

License : Valid state license required at time of submission.

Certifications : BCLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP required; FHM and AWHONN Advanced preferred.

Must-Have : Labor and delivery experience; ability to circulate c-sections; IV starts, triage, and circulation experience required.

Description :

Provide care in labor and delivery, recovery, postpartum, mother-baby, and nursery.

Conduct OB triage for patients in labor.

Assist in GYN surgeries as needed.

Patient ratio for all shifts ranges from 1 : 1 to 1 : 8 depending on assigned area.

Average daily census is 8 patients with approximately 10 visits per day.

Facility features 20 rooms and 21 beds.

Every other weekend work is required, and staff will float within the service line.

Intensivist, anesthesiologist, and CRNA are on call 24 / 7.

Hospitalist is in-house 24 / 7.

All travelers must float within the service line.
