The role supports the ESRI GIS platform in a DevOps environment using capital funds for incremental improvements and enhancements. Responsibilities include configuration, scripting (primarily in Python), database modeling, and working with various ESRI modules (e.g., GeoEvent Server, Notebook). Familiarity with how ESRI products interoperate is essential.
Work is managed via JIRA, with daily standups led by a Scrum Master. The developer will collaborate with teammates, product owners, and project managers. Tasks include configuring ESRI tools, Python scripting, and building maps and apps within the platform.
The core team includes 2 full-time developers, a technical lead, scrum master, and product owner. The developer will also interact with stakeholders from business units like distribution, gas, and wildfire.
Primarily internal customers, with occasional interaction with a support vendor for knowledge transfer and documentation.

100% remote or office-based; no fieldwork or safety risks involved.
Expected to be proficient within 2-3 months. Basic tasks can be handled earlier with mentoring.
