Ecco Internship

Ecco was born as an independent press in 1971, and in 1999 became an imprint of HarperCollins. Today, Ecco publishes literary fiction and general nonfiction to poetry, cookbooks, and literature in translation, by authors including Nobel Laureates, Pulitzer Prize winners, and National Book Award recipients among others, such as Jos Andrs, Margaret Atwood, Anthony Bourdain, Charles Bukowski, Nicole Chung, Kathleen Collins, Patrick deWitt, Deborah Eisenberg, Louise Glck, Kathleen Hanna, Cristina Henrquez, Juhea Kim, Jonathan Lethem, Imani Perry, Patti Smith, Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney, Natasha Trethewey, Shelby Van Pelt, and Kevin Wilson.

Responsibilities

• Design social media graphics and advertisements using Canva
• Assist in building content for frontlist and backlist social media campaigns
• Research audiences and build influencer lists
• Optimize metadata and marketing copy
• Assemble materials for major sales meetings and award submissions
• Fulfill mailings and giveaways as needed
