Grounds & Facilities Laborer

Join our hardworking team dedicated to maintaining clean, safe, and functional outdoor and facility spaces. This hands-on role supports a wide range of maintenance and operational tasks across building exteriors, roadways, and landscaped areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out physically demanding tasks with minimal prior experience required
• Load / unload materials from trucks and transport them using carts, dollies, or wheelbarrows
• Organize and stack supplies for storage or disposal
• Clear debris, collect recyclables, and manage waste removal
• Excavate, backfill, and level terrain using manual tools (shovels, rakes, tampers)
• Remove snow, shovel concrete, clean drainage systems, and trim vegetation
• Operate landscaping equipment such as power mowers and leaf blowers
• Clean rooftops, gutters, and assist with flooring removal projects
• Relocate heavy items including furniture, appliances, and equipment
• Apply sand or deicer to icy surfaces and maintain walkways
• Support seasonal groundskeeping and general site upkeep
• Participate in emergency spill response efforts
• Obtain and maintain asbestos handling certification (training provided)
• May serve as a certified flagger or fire watch when needed
• Perform additional duties or assist other trades as required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.41 / hr.
