Summary
We are looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented People Specialist / Human Resources Specialist who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting people, processes, and culture. The HR Specialist will play a key role in onboarding, HRIS and payroll administration, benefits coordination, and employee lifecycle support for a nationwide team.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding
- Lead the full onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience
- Coordinate equipment, IT access, and first-day details (e.g., scrubs, name tags, etc.)
- Send and track new hire training invitations and orientation sessions
HRIS & Records Management
Maintain accurate data within the HRIS systemManage personnel files in compliance with company and regulatory requirementsPayroll
Serve as the primary partner with the organizations Paychex managed services teamAct as the internal payroll liaison for colleague questions and issue resolutionBenefits & Compliance
Support benefits enrollment and provide ongoing day-to-day benefits guidanceEnsure EDI feed and data accuracy for benefits vendorsTrack FMLA and manage related documentationOversee required compliance and training administrationEmployee Lifecycle Support
Manage offboarding processes with consistency and careProvide responsive HR support to colleagues and leaders across the organizationRecruiting Support
Assist with resume screening and candidate coordination to support high-volume recruiting effortsWhat Youll Bring
Paychex experience requiredDegree : Associates Degree or higher required24 years of HR experience in a generalist, coordinator, or specialist capacityStrong organizational, multitasking, and follow-through skillsClear, approachable, and professional communication styleA people-first mindset with strong attention to detailExperience with onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems (preferred)Compensation & Benefits
Salary : The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. Annual base salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and or licensures.
