Job Description

The Summers Agency is seeking motivated remote inside sales representatives to work as independent life insurance agents. This role offers flexible scheduling, remote or hybrid options, and structured support to build a career in life and health insurance sales.

Primary responsibilities :

  • Contact and engage prospective clients who have expressed interest in insurance solutions.
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate life, health, or retirement products in collaboration with in-house specialists.
  • Schedule and conduct appointments by phone or video; in-person meetings are optional.
  • Guide clients through the application process using our platform and verify required information prior to submission.
  • Maintain accurate client records, follow up to ensure policy placement, and meet performance expectations.
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and compliance activities.

Required qualifications :

  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and coachable with the ability to work independently.
  • Professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail in client interactions and documentation.
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.
  • Eligibility to work as a 1099 independent contractor and ability to obtain required state insurance licenses (licensing support provided).
  • Comfort with digital tools and willingness to learn new platforms.
  • Compensation and support :

  • 1099 commission-based compensation with uncapped earning potential; commission-only (no base salary).
