Process Engineering Manager

To support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Manager located in Austin, TX. Reporting to the Director, Operations Engineering, the Process Engineering Manager role will be in charge of managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like :

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
• Establish and improve process capabilities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
• Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Improve throughput in constrained areas.
• Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and / or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
• Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
