Summary

The Warehouse / Yard Worker will get started in the yard helping to pull orders for machinists, answer questions for customers, and do general warehouse duties and cleaning. Everyone gets trained on the forklift and hoist and then moved on to training to be a machinist. This is a career and skills development opportunity.

Responsibilities

Pull material for customer orders

Load material on / in customer vehicles.

Torch material as required.

Band material for shipping

Shrink wrap material for shipping.

Operate forklift in a safe and professional manner according to company policies.

Restock material as directed by supervisor.

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

Have the ability to use all the required hand tools necessary to perform duties.

Receive material according to company policies and procedures.

Coordinate the flow of customer traffic in the yard(s).

Perform cycle counts as directed by supervisor.

Ensure the yard(s) are kept clean, safe, and free of unused material

Requirements

High school or equivalent (preferred)

Forklift Experience (sit down, overhead crane, hoist)

At least 6 months in a warehouse / yard setting

Customer Service Experience

Pay : Starting at $19 / hr

Schedule : 8am - 5pm (some flexibility needed - other shifts may be available)
