Job Description
A confidential aerospace manufacturer is seeking an Assembly Technician to join its production team. This entry-level role plays a vital part in assembling, testing, and preparing aerospace components that directly support aircraft interior and cargo systems.
This is an onsite position and requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble products and components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing orders.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to perform precise assembly work.
Perform quality checks, identify defects, and complete repairs or rework as needed.
Maintain inventory accuracy at workstations.
Follow safety standards, quality guidelines, and organizational procedures.
Support team goals in a collaborative production environment.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, OR 2 years of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience.
VatageClear credential (or equivalent)
U.S. Citizenship (required for contract compliance).
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and light assembly equipment.
Basic computer skills to access and complete production documentation.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and simple instructions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
