We are seeking a System Safety Engineer / Analyst to join our dynamic team. Your primary role will be to ensure compliance with safety policies and standards, establishing design criteria, leading safety analyses, and evaluating systems and software, including :

• C onducting safety assessments and hazards analyses of hardware and software related to missiles, rockets, launchers, and combat equipment.
• Preparing and updating Safety Assessment Reports, Hazards Analyses, and System Safety Risk Assessments.
• Preparing and reviewing System Safety Management Plans (SSMPs) and System Safety Program Plans (SSPPs).
• Conducting safety assessments of new, updated, or modified hardware, including change, waiver, and exemption requests.
• Assessing design and test documentation for safety requirements and verifying test data.
• Performing technical System Safety Reviews and preparing documentation for government approval.
• Coordinating with government and contractor personnel to review safety documentation, test reports, and data.
• Reviewing incident data to assess safety implications and risk levels.
• Reviewing contractor documentation for safety implications and supporting the development of SOWs and specifications from a safety perspective.
