3x12-hour shifts; Days, 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM; weekends and holidays included.

\n\nJob Description\n

Join our team in a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit, caring for a diverse patient population including those with cardiac issues, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal problems, general surgery, and orthopedics. Our healthcare team consists of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs / US, and unit secretaries. You will be expected to manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 6.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Manage care for Med-Surg / Telemetry patients.

    • \n

  • Administer insulin, heparin, and Lasik drips.

    • \n

  • Take IMCU patients if needed based on census.

    • \n

  • Float to like acuities or less if necessary.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • CPI Certification required.

    • \n

  • ACLS and BLS certifications required.

    • \n

  • Must not reside within a 50-mile radius.
