About The Position

Wellhart is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position at a trauma center in Florida. The assignment begins on 09 / 01 / 2025 and lasts for 40 days, with a potential for extension. The schedule includes shifts Monday through Friday, with varying shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours. The CRNA will be responsible for providing anesthesia care for a diverse case mix, including cardiac, general, orthopedic, and trauma cases. This role requires flexibility in shift lengths and a commitment to work a minimum of 10 shifts per month.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases, including cardiac, general, orthopedic, and trauma

Adapt to varying shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours) as needed

Work a minimum of 10 shifts per month

Utilize Medixacon and Epic electronic medical record systems

Collaborate with the cardiovascular program team

Maintain proficiency in all aspects of anesthesia care

Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period

Additional Information :

Must have an active Florida license

Experience in cardiac anesthesia is highly desirable

Flexibility in scheduling is essential

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
