Overview : Billing / Revenue Cycle Management Specialist
Heritage is currently searching for a Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the revenue cycle process from start to finish, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team. Individuals in these positions must be able to work Monday - Friday (40 hours each week).
Core Responsibilities Include :
Submit electronic and manual claims adhering to strict deadlinesMonitor and analyze revenue cycle performance.Identify and resolve billing issuesDevelop and maintain relationships with payersWork with other departments to ensure accurate billing information is providedPost and work claim denialsPost Insurance paymentsOther duties as assigned, required, or specifically negotiated with supervisorKnowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Must have knowledge of ICD-10-CM / PCS and CPT / HCPCS coding.Strong understanding of the revenue cycle processExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyOutstanding organizational skillsAbility to work independently, but within a team-based environmentEducation and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent is required.One year of previous experience in medical billing, coding, and / or collection.Valid driver’s license, reliable means of transportation and proof of current automobile insurance are required.Salary Range : $37,440 - $60,320 per year ($18.00 - $29.00 per hour) - dependent on education and experience
