A growing, high-end bakery in Northeast New Jersey is searching for a Lead Cake Decorator to head up their cake program. This is a unique chance to combine your artistic creativity with a business-minded approach , overseeing custom cake design for weddings, corporate events, and luxury occasions while contributing to the bakery’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a small team of decorators while setting production standards

Collaborate with clients to bring their vision to life

Manage projects with a strong business mindset — balancing creativity, cost, and timelines

Oversee portfolio-quality designs for high-profile events and clientele

Partner with leadership on process improvements and long-term bakery growth strategies

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of cake decorating experience , with strong design and artistic skills

Leadership experience in bakery

A business-oriented portfolio showing your ability to drive creativity with efficiency

Strong client-facing communication skills

Culinary degree or equivalent professional background preferred

Compensation & Benefits

$60,000 – $90,000 salary range (commensurate with experience)
