About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM)

Experience : 2 years of recent critical care experience required

License : Must possess a state Respiratory Care Provider license at the time of start

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, NBRC (RRT) required

Must-Have :

Candidates must be RRT only, no CRT.

Candidates must float to all areas of the facility, including labor and delivery.

Candidates must have all required certifications in hand before starting.

Description :

This position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in critical care.

The shift is three nights per week, from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM, with a holiday rotation.

Every other weekend coverage is required.

Candidates are expected to perform pulmonary function tests and provide care to diverse patient groups, including neonates, adolescents, and adults.

Experience with a variety of respiratory procedures and interventions is necessary.

Candidates should be capable of assisting in high-risk deliveries and handling emergency respiratory situations.

Daily responsibilities may include managing mechanical ventilation, performing extubations, interpreting arterial blood gases, and administering nebulized medications.

Candidates will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

Floating to different areas of the facility may be required to meet patient needs.

All required certifications must be complete before the start date.
