Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Lead Control Room Operator in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Works under limited supervision performing complex technical work.
• Duties may include technical responsibility for a major phase or component of a project.
• Takes lead role in work-flow coordination.
• Monitoring the roadways, including detecting, confirming, updating, and responding to scheduled and unscheduled traffic events and congestion with ITS devices such as closed-circuit TV, detectors, etc.
• Act like an emergency dispatcher within a call center environment dispatching Road Rangers via a two-way radio system to assist motorists, respond to events and other activities that require timely and efficient responses.
• Other duties assigned.

This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. This position does not include relocation benefits. This is an onsite position. This is NOT a remote position but located on the client site locations. Opportunities for overtime hours and pay are also available.
