We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Technology Services Group (TSG) via our Automation, Infrastructure, and Middleware (AIM) team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ – Hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways :

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and development of essential database development initiatives encompassing provisioning, utility, and maintenance automation. BNY strives to create a state-of-the-art development organization to support its primary financial strategies, and this work will be instrumental in the success of this goal.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to foster positive team dynamics and bring alternative ideas within the confines of the scope of work.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a 4-year degree in computer science, including courses in code development, database, and infrastructure. Experience working with at least one of the following database platforms : SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, UDB.
  • A developer mindset with a background in the creation of code using Python. Java language experience is a plus. Understanding of SDLC and pipeline management using Git and Artifactory.
  • Strong understanding of graph algorithms, object-oriented programming, and data integrity automation.
  • Knowledge of financial document processing and embedding libraries.
  • Experience automating data quality verification and improving data integrity in financial operations.

    Base salary for this position is expected to be between $66,500 and $90,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary is determined on an individualized basis, including experience and market location, and is part of the total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
