Travelers must be comfortable caring for both adults and pediatrics.

First-timers accepted.

Every 3rd weekend required.

No on-call required.

Floating within scope is not required.

No block schedule accommodations available.

Locals not accepted.

Pending license accepted.

Not allowed within 75-mile radius.

Description :

This position is for an emergency room nurse working night shifts.

The emergency department serves both adult and pediatric populations.

The nurse will manage various chief complaints, including abdominal pain, chest pain, stroke symptoms, and musculoskeletal injuries.

Effective triage and procedural sedation administration and monitoring skills are needed.

Pediatric emergency department experience is preferred.

The daily census ranges from 120 to 160 patients.

There are 25 rooms and beds available in the unit.

The patient to nurse ratio will be 1 : 4.

Continuous IV sedation management experience is required.

Knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation and management is essential.

Experience with glucostabilizers is essential for the role.

All travelers will float within service lines as required.
