What will the Technical SME do?
Serve as the internal go-to expert for the FAST PAS platform, supporting operations and troubleshooting issuesAct as the primary liaison to the FAST vendor for escalations, enhancements, and training coordinationDocument workflows, data lineage, and system configurations to support ongoing optimizationPartner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable itemsPrioritize and manage a backlog of system fixes and enhancements based on business impactUse SQL and lower environments to validate data, inspect logs, and reverse-engineer data modelsSupport API testing and payload validation using tools like Postman and JSONWhat the company needs in a Technical SME :
3-5 years of experience in technical support, systems analysis, or business systems roles within insurance or financial servicesStrong SQL skills and understanding of data structures and lineageFamiliarity with policy administration systems (FAST preferred) and cloud-based environments (AWS Aurora)Experience with API testing and troubleshooting (Postman, JSON, XML)Ability to communicate clearly across technical and business teamsComfortable working independently in a startup environment with evolving prioritiesIntellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn and grow with the companyPreferred Attributes :
