Security Officer - Unarmed Defense Site

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Defense Site in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally while responding to various situations, always upholding the values of agility, reliability, and innovation that define Allied Universal. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate : $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat07 : 30 AM - 04 : 00 PMSun07 : 30 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
  • Support a secure environment for personnel and assets in an aerospace and defense location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Active Department of Defense Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
