Inventory Analyst

Nakupuna Solutions is looking for an Inventory Analyst. The purpose of this position is to be a member of a contract support team to provide logistical support services for inventory management and physical material expertise at a client warehouse located on Fleet Logistics Center San Diego, Ventura County Site Port Hueneme. The team will support Navy initiatives and efforts through onload, offload, warehousing, and distribution of Navy material as directed by client leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic warehouse functions to include but not limited to receiving, verifying, stowing, and issuing material; storage and material handling.
• Support business process analysis to ensure FIAR compliance is being maintained.
• Support on-load / off-load of material from naval assets, to include material identification, removal / replacement, and transportation.
• Dispose of stagnant material within the warehouse per policy and client direction.
• Perform physical inventories in accordance with client policy.
• Identify inventory deficiencies and provide appropriate causative research and remediation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (training to be provided)
• Keep Nakupuna project leadership team abreast of any issues of potential impact to achievement of contract deliverables or accomplishment of client mission.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and on-the-job safety requirements.

Military Installation Access : This position resides on a military installation. Must be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass. Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including a FBI fingerprint check. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

This position is for an anticipated 6-month contract with a 6-month option.

This federal government project is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA). The hourly rate for this position is determined by the location where work is performed. In addition to hourly pay, positions subject to SCA are entitled to a health and welfare (H&W) payment, which may be adjusted based employee selection of company benefits in lieu of H&W. The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market rates commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation rate for this position is $38.80 per hour. The hourly rate displayed represents the typical rate for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
