Overview

Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) role at 7-Eleven. We are hiring immediately and focused on your success. We offer full-time hours and a valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
  • Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Support cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote our loyalty program.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures and ensuring products are in stock.
  • Contribute to maintaining high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and fostering productivity.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred; not required if candidate has at least one year of retail management experience.
  • A valid Driver's License from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance during employment.
  • Strong oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel preferred).
  • Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and supervisory experience; ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership in collaboration with Store Leader.
