A Brief Overview
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients / families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Education
Other Accredited Program : Diploma in Nursing or(ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)(BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)(MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of nursing process and practice required.Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices required.1 year of RN experience required.Labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum experience strongly preferred.This is a full time, night shift position. On call required. RNs will be cross trained to all areas of the department.Licenses and Certifications
Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio required andBasic Life Support (BLS) Required or must be obtained during nursing orientationAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Adult and Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required based on clinical area standards.Additional Licenses and Certifications
