We are seeking skilled lathe machinists capable of programming, setup and production during 1st shift. Join the M-1 team to work in a clean, modern, high-tech job shop with all newer machinery and equipment where you will work to produce interesting parts in prototype and short run production quantities.

• Positions Available : 1st Shift, 6 : 00AM-4 : 30PM
• Requirements for a CNC Mazak Lathe Machinist : Program, Setup, and Operate Mazak Lathes.
• Our Machinists are expected to work independently.
• Minimum 10 years of experience or training using Mazak Mazatrol conversational programming (or equivalent) to program and operate their own machines.
• Must be able read and understand blueprints and associated technical specifications and use communication skills to produce high quality and close tolerance parts.
• Experience machining parts made from aluminum, heat treated stainless steels, titanium, Inconel, and other aerospace alloys required.
• Strong communication skills required to produce high quality and close tolerance parts.
• Knowledge of Aerospace quality system requirements and production environment is a plus.

Pay : $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours : 45 – 55 per week
