Reports to : Executive Director
Administrative Responsibilities :
- Assist with the recruitment of Classroom Supervisors.
- Oversee the planning and execution of beneficial, manageable, and fun school field trips that anticipate and ensure safety for staff and students at all times.
- Communicate regularly with parents, seeking their support and advice, so as to create a cooperative relationship to support their children and the school as a whole.
- Attend and participate in school wide events and meetings.
- In collaboration with the Directors, execute the expansion of new programs and services; help problem solve the implementation of new ideas while managing potential problems and diffusing issues that arise.
- Work with Directors on intake assessments and onboarding as to ensure each is well planned and executed.
- Prepare for, attend, and contribute valuable information during administrative meetings.
- Assist with the development and implementation of other special projects, as needed.
- Oversees classroom team meetings by collaborating with classroom supervisors on information to review and following up with them afterwards to follow up on any ideas or concerns.
- Inputs staff and student absences on the outlook calendar
Educational Responsibilities :
Assist with all aspects of curriculum development, research, development of functional assessment and analysis of problem behavior, development of behavior intervention plans, and ensure the overall quality and effectiveness of the day-to-day education and treatment of our students.Provide training for Classroom Supervisors as needed.Oversee the selection and the execution of extra-curricular activities and vocational programming within community settings.Manage and regularly assess extra-curricular programming to ensure the right students are in the right classesDevelopment and assessment of student acquisition programming utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and in collaboration with parents and related service providers to develop a comprehensive educational plan. Assessments will be updated prior to clinic meetings to stay up to date.Conducts behavioral assessments and analyses, analyzes the data on targeted behaviors to make data-based decisions that ensure the progress of each student.Encourages strong collaboration of parent involvement within all aspects of the educational program.Develops goals for parents to ensure objectives are clear and attainable; provide parents with consistent communication that allows for transparency of programming.Assist with the coordination of the socialization programs to ensure good communication and effective programming.Prepare for, attend, and contribute to IEP meetings.Collaborate with related providers, as requested by parents, to ensure consistency of student programming.Conduct weekly progress monitoring to ensure progress is satisfactory.Create targets, program and teaching instructions, and identifies strategies to enhance progress.Observe programming to ensure programs are successful for the learner and makes changes when needed.Organize, prepares for, and conducts clinic meetings with Classroom Supervisor.Develops and implements annual evaluations for classroom supervisors with oversight from the Director of Staff Training.Provides RBT and BCBA / LBA supervision with oversight from the Director of Staff Training.Trains staff on behavior intervention plans and provides BRTP refreshers.First point of contact for high intensity or novel behaviors.Observes / participates in speech sessions to help carry over speech and language strategies.Sends videos of students to parents to showcase skills demonstrated at school.Reviews seizure protocols monthly.Requirements :
MA / MS in Psychology, Education or related field; BCBA / LBA certified; at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a school or clinic settingAt least 3 years’ experience working with children with Autism utilizing ABA, preferably with students ages 11-21 years old.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in management and training.The applicant must be a team player that can work in conjunction with other supervisors and senior management towards organizational goalsThe applicant must be a dynamic leader who can work with a diverse staff with varying levels of experience in the fieldThe applicant must be an effective communicator both internally with staff and externally with parents, community partners, etc.The applicant will be motivated, energetic and reliable, with a passion for working with children with Autism.The applicant understands that all conduct must reflect the highest level of professionalism at all times.Job Type : Full-time
